Emma

I'm constantly surprised, pleasingly it has to be said, by the sheer variety of jobs that the models I photograph either do or are in training/studying to do. For every pole dancer there is an auditor for every adult industry performer there is a marine biologist.

Emma, above, is studying to be a particle physicist, she's currently studying part-time whilst holding down a 60 hour a week job as the manager of a clothes shop in Southampton. She's one of the bubbliest and liveliest models I have worked with and one of the few who has a great natural smile and is willing to show it. So many models have based their modelling around the idea that it is wrong to be smiling in either fashion or glamour magazines which in turns leads them to believe that expression emotion for the camera is a no-no, fortunately Emma is one of life's great smilers and a pleasure to work with.
