I did everything the way you should this year. Booked the Eurostar early (to take advantage of their special offer), booked the hotel early (to take advantage of their special offer), booked my train to and from Waterloo early (etc etc) - in all I saved over £300 on fares and room simply by taking advantage of those offers and now I won't be there.
D'Oh indeed! It has been suggested that I stand behind the sofa for ten hours to get that authentic last day of the tour feel!
