Oscar Niemeyer
I'm not likely to visit Brazil but I have always admired the architectural realisation of the visions of Oscar Niemeyer who has died. I have no idea whether or not they function properly as offices or apartments or whether they are just flights of fancy but I think that they look beautiful and that the world would be a poorer place without them.

They work in Rio, never been to Brasilia though so don't know. The pictures I've seen certainly are impressive.
