Stupid quote of the day:
"The only areas of crime where the figures have actually increased in Scotland involve crimes of dishonesty." - BBC Home Affairs Correspondent on News 24.
So having known, through the medium of television, that there are 'good cops' and 'bad cops' we apparently now have crimes which don't involve dishonesty. Next time your car/house is broken into step back and admire the honesty of the person involved and congratulate him on his chosen career path.

How would you feel about the quote if they'd have said "fraud" instead of "dishonesty"? I wouldn't be surprised if that's what they meant.
We also assumed that's what they meant Shy but it just seemed a daft way of putting it.
I wonder if there's any legal wording there, The Scots have there own laws etc (including one in where a person can be found not proven or something, anyway, it's between guilty and innocent, which I quite like)
maybe there is an official definition of "dishonesty" in Scottish Law
