Au Revoir 2009
Well what a year that was!
Thanks to everybody who visited by little corner of the Blogsphere, especially to Span, Shy and Gildy for contributing and to Bonnie for being a newbie visitor and Tag, the Japanese football fan. A thank you to anybody else who called in a didn't leave a message or comment, come on, show yourself in 2010.
I met so many people for the first (and possibly only) time this year who took me into other worlds and interests and made my life richer for the encounter. In no particular order there was the guy in Glasgow who hated sectarianism so much he supported Airdrie, Brendon and Nancy at the Tour De France and the Cycle Tour Barbies who showed a welcome cynicism for their home country whilst also displaying a huge appetitte for knowledge about the 'old world.' To the Nikon camera owner at Avebury who was willing to sit on the damp grass and share his knowledge of Megolithic man with me and to the father and son who wanted to talk to me about my car! I've never met anybody who was interested in what I drive before and it was great to meet a couple of people so in love with VW's.
Whatever you are doing tonight have a happy, safe and healthy celebration.

Thanks Paul and best wishes to you too. I'm still in Blighty but back to work on Wednesday. I'll probably start posting again then! I'll also catch up on your ever interesting posts. Re Flikr I tracked you down a while ago...beach huts aren't THAT popular! ;-)
Thanks Span for the comments. You should have said something about Flickr any comments/observations would be good.
