Twisted Logic

After last weeks fun and games you would have thought that in the final few days of this working year we'd be in for the quite life - wrong! Brian requested a meeting with my boss and stated that he felt the rest of the office were giving him the cold shoulder because he had made a serious accusation against one of Laura's clients last week. It's an interesting move, not least because only two people knew about the accusation, because the office are actually giving him the bird because he refused to acknowledge a fellow member of staff's professional success.

I suppose this is what is referred to as 'guilt transference.'

Guilt transference isn't the term I'd use but I know what you mean.

It really pisses me off that a certain group of people can't simply go to work, do what they're paid for and then bugger off home without creating hassle for their colleagues.

Perhaps I'm an idealist.

Not at all Shy. I was talking to a colleague yesterday and he pointed out that it's amazing how one person can cause so much disruption if they try. It's the constant bitchiness that pisses everybody off and the competitiveness when working together would be a far better solution.
