Thanks for the comments Six, Gavin and Shy Talk on this and the World Cup blog, I have replied to you but I don't know whether the e-mail reply system does work. If not just to let you know I appreciate any comments, good or bad.
Yes, it should have been a pen - I think the forward roll didn't help his cause. And didn't you smile everytime the commentator referred to the Ghanaian player Pimpong - a cross between table tennis and procurring sex.

Italians won deservedly...But...BUT should have been a penalty at 1-0...who knows!
