Last night we went along to Nathalie's school year presentation evening (she's in year 7 for the next three weeks) and very good it was. She picked up two awards, the Governors Award, which is based on a certificate system throughout the year and the Twynham Bronze Award, which is the first step on the Duke of Edinburgh Award. I know I'm her Dad but she should have got a 100% Attendance Award as well, her attendance is recorded for the year as 99.67% - the missing .33% is down to her being in the nurses room when the first register was taken one morning. In my line of work 99.67 would be rounded up to 100!
The year 7 and 8 choir performed two songs, Dream by the Everly Brothers which I felt slightly uneasy about seeing 12 and 13 year old girls sing and Let it Be.
Now the lyrics of The Beatles would be a Mastermind shoe-in for me but something happened the third line should be: "And in my hour of darkness she is standing right in front of me, " except the choir sang, "And in my time of needing she is standing right in front of me."
Why?

I'll echo Six on that.
I was proud as punch of my eldest two when I wrote this:
