New Season Fixtures

For those who have had enough of the World Cup already the good news is today's 2006-7 Premiership Fixture List announcement. Well, the Hammers begin on 19th August (which I reckon is only 8 weeks away) with a visit from Charlton, who as usual are managed by an ex-Hammer, this time it's Bartman and not Curbs. Our first away game is to Vicarage Road and we finish August with our favourite away trip Anfield - where we only win when there's a liberal government. In September we have three home games: Aston Villa, Newcastle and Reading plus a trip to Eastlands. Looking at that start I'll take 11 points from the first six games.

Incidentally look at our the mighty have fallen, Carling Cup Draw: Accrington Stanley v Nottingham Forest.
