He's Back !

Those of us who believe John Terry shouldn't be allowed to carry Rio Ferdinand's boots let alone captain the England side saw some light at the end of the tunnel yesterday. Jonathan Woodgate came through his Premiership game against the Arse showing what England have been sorely missing, a quality centre-back to play alongside Rio.

Whatever Arsenal tried he was there showing calm authority, anticipation and a turn of speed when needed. Arsenal dominated possession, although that doesn't really mean much these days as they resemble the Harlem Globetrotters without having somebody could can actually kill off the opposition, Woody was the best player on the pitch.

I don't think I've seen enough of him to say really. All I do know is that one of my best friends - who is one of Boro's 6 1/2 season ticket holders - hates him. More for his off-pitch reputation, than on pitch.
