England international midfielder Owen Hargreaves is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines after breaking the fibula in his left leg in a collision with Thorben Marx in Bayern Munich's 2-1 league defeat by Armenia Bielefied.
He will miss England's matches against Macedonia and Croatia in October.
"I need to wear a plaster for three weeks then we will have to see how it goes," Hargreaves said on his website.
I mean how tough is that? You have a good World Cup and win over your doubters (me, Six and Span excluded) then you're dream transfer doesn't take place and then after playing your way into England's starting line-up you break your leg and are set to miss the next two internationals.
You have to be careful spelling the name of the Bielefield player he collided with correctly, otherwise you could end up with a great name for an East European porn star.

Just how many East European porn stars do you know then Paul? I don't know any!
I thought exactly the same thing. I think he's proved himself enough to make it back though especially considering the faith that Ferguson appears to be putting in Carrick.
I never thought I'd see a thread with Owen Hargreaves and East European porn in it! I am completely unqualified to comment on the latter but I'd say Owen Hargreaves has been playing very well for England lately. Who should take his place?
Shy,
It will probably be Michael Carrick.
