At Last The Deal Is Done

So after months of speculation the club has finally been sold to the former presenter of Mastermind - no only joking - it's been sold to another one of Magnus's son's for between £85 and £90 million depending on who you believe.

I hope things work out for the Icelandic UEFA representative, it was easy chanting "Brown out", "Magnusson out," is a bit more of a mouthful.

So, what will change? Well the club's debts will be wiped out which is a good thing and there will be some money in the tin for Pards to buy some new players and possibly a move to Stratford at some point. That in itself would be interesting from a historical perspective, the original home ground of Thames Ironworks was the old recreation ground in West Ham, a Julian Dicks free-kick from Stratford High Street.

We'll see the back of Tevez and Mascherano, which is typical as Tevez is finally beginning to show his real value to the side and just needs a couple more games to get his fitness levels right.

So, who do we want to come in during January? Well, we need a natural right sided midfield player, the rumour is we're getting SWP for £10 million, and possible cover at centre back and cover for Matty on the left.

First of all though, let's put this dreadful start behind us and make a move up the table.

Sarnia, I spent some time on Saturday night trying to find a video of Hot Chocolate's 'So You Win Again' to post just for you -

Unfortunately the only version I found was in the BBC ToTP archives and it wouldn't upload.

I was pleased we didn't embarass ourselves to be honest but Chelsea were only playing at 50% of their capacity whereas we were flat-out.
