I like to think of myself as somebody who is generally and genuinely sympathetic to the plight of others, I am however losing all sense of sympathy and rationality with one member of our staff.

The person's only crime is that they are pregnant with twins - I say crime only to demonstrate the absurd mindest I currently find myself in. Her problem is that she can't admit what a great non functioning waste of space she has become, the original chocolate teapot - it takes days for anything to be done - that's when she's not phoning in sick or coming to work and spending a lot of time and energy being sick.

I'm not advocating the sacking of women for crimes against celibacy, I just wish she'd been honest with us and said she wouldn't be able to do the job instead of hiding behind the phrase "Can I work from home?" To be honest she's found it difficult coping with the one child she has and working half a week, the prospect of her getting any work done with three children are pretty remote.
