The Americans Might Not Get It.....But We Do

Oh boy. You cannot fail to marvel at the ways England sports teams can collude to snatch defeat from, if not the jaws of victory, the possibility of a draw. Taking the unwanted record of being the highest ever score declared and then losing is not the sort of consolation anybody wants.

It's hard to get your head round what happened this morning in Adelaide, how a pitch that had offerred little to encourage the bowlers, except Hoggy, for the previous four days should suddenly turn into England's downfall.

The stories coming out of Perth aren't encouraging either, what was once the fastest track in Australia is turning into a siding for fast bowlers, in other words we are looking at another Adelaide. At present England don't look as if they can bowl out Australia twice in the same match and therefore the Ashes will be returning to Australia as they (England) need to win at least two of the remaining three and draw the other one.
