Sometimes I Wonder

I carry around so much junk in my head that sometimes bits slip out unexpectedly and I get funny looks from those close to me (either physically or genetically) like today for example.

I suddenly remembered three things about Luther Blissett that I wasn't even aware that I knew in the first place:

1. When he played (briefly) for Bournemouth he lived at Sandbanks and called his house Far Corfe (because he could see Corfe Castle from his window), yeah right!

2. He owned a sports shop that went bust (don't they all?) but the two doors that were the entrance and exit weren't called that, they were called Turnstile One and Turnstile Two.

3.When he signed form AC Milan he took one look at the San Siro and said "It's alright, but where's the greyhound track?"

Deep breaths, time to lay down in a darkened room for a while.

P.S - Am I the only person who thinks of Grandmaster Flash when they say the words 'Sometimes I Wonder' - well am I?
