But What Size Eggs?

Hailstones the size of eggs have ravaged parts of southern China, killing 13 people. Seven people were killed and one was injured when a bus was hit in a landslide triggered by hailstorms in a mountainous region of Sichuan Province. The other six were killed by falling roofs and lightning.

Now, without taking anything away from the seriousness of the situation, don't headlines like that piss you off? I mean are we talking, Quail, Duck or Ostrich eggs? It's like when some doomsday merchant come on the t.v and says a forest the size of Belgium is being flattened everyday in Brazil so that cattle can graze before being kiiled to make more deathburgers. How many people know how big Belgium is? And if you did happen to know that Belgium is 11,782 square miles big could you translate that knowledge into trees felled?
