The Paperless Office Is Imminent

Today was training day for the big one - the new adventures of Office Boy and his trusty sidekick Staple Gun Girl. We've seen the technology, we've had the training and tomorrow we'll be let loose on it and fuck it up!

One of the great ego boosting happenings of the last two days has been that my input (no pun intended) has been vindicated by the way the software is supposed to run. Yes, I'm blowing my own trumpet here but I had grave doubts that my boss knew exactly how it would run, he's good though in that he admits to his own technological shortcomings and relies on mine, and to a lesser extent, Angela's ideas.

After all the recent problems with Robert I think it's safe to assume that my boss now assumes he has two managers and not three as was previously the case. I feel that not only has a huge weight been lifted from my shoulders but that the practice can now move forward and I feel a whole lot better about things.
