Well done to Manchester United and well played Chelsea at Ashburton Grove, unfortunately the boys in blue ran out of puff before the end.
This season has put to an end the ridiculous notion that the Premiership can be won by anyone, all season long we've been told that Arsenal, Liverpool, Everton, Aston Villa (no don't laugh) and Spuds were a couple of quality players short of being real challengers. Well, unless those five clubs manage to sign Ronaldinho, Etoo, Kaka, Ibrahimovic, David Villa and Fernando Torres they'll still be miles behind. To finish as far as of the pack the two clubs have done is a tribute to their hard work and organisation both on and off the field but compare it to La Liga where four clubs can still win the title and the words 'most competitive league in the world' sound like a hollow promise.
It's been a week for revelations as firstly Sir Alex in Milan and today Maureen at Arsenal paid tribute to their conquerors, for both men, who are known for lacking certain social skills, to do so was admirable. Well can we look forward to more of the same next season? I think so from these two at least but there aren't likely to be any major surprises. Arsenal demonstrated once more today that they have players who can pass the ball to death but nobody who can take the responsibility of actually shooting from more than twelve yards. It's a pity, because for all Sky's puffed up nonsense about the game in this country being the best, having only two teams from twenty competitive enough to make your premier competition interesting means that somebody is getting shortchanged.

Oh well, Chelsea did their best in the 2nd half.
My eldest was at the Emirates today (an Arse friend of his gave him his ticket as he couldn't go) so bratling had to sit on his hands when CFC equalised. (Was sitting with the Arse lot obviously).
He's also got a ticket for the game against Scum on Weds. He'll go but I wonder how many people will now?
Yes - well done Man U - fantastic stuff. Just wish I liked the team.
I have visited this page a few times recently and have only just realised what keeps drawing me back...
why don't footballers play shirtless?
It might get a lot more women interested
Well as long as something brings you back from time to time.
A few years ago when Danny Baker did 6-0-6 a woman caller said she wanted to see players wearing only jockstraps. DK made the comment that yes, even as a heterosexual male he could see why that would be an attraction he did think however that the sight of Stuart Pearce in just his underwear would be too much for some forwards.
