Jack's Funeral

Today was Jack's funeral, I was left alone in the office with the temp. as everybody else wanted to go. My boss has said I can have a day off in lieu but that would feel a bit awkward, taking a day off instead of going to a funeral.

I had the job of organising the time for people to leave the office for the 45 minute journey to the middle of Dorset for the church ceremony and the bunfight that followed but even adding on 15 minutes in case of latecomers there was still one person who arrived at the office late - no prizes for guessing which one!

It's been quite strange in the office today, so quiet. I've got loads done and have even managed to post this in my lunchbreak without interruptions.
