Lunchtime Interlude

Channel hopping as I ate my bacon baguette I stumbled across the Beeb's coverage of Wimbledon 2007 and a shot of Clive Lloyd, Lenny Henry and Dawn French in the Centre Court crowd appeared on the screen.

"Well at least they'll be some laughs," the male commentator said to Tracy Austin.

Possibly I thought, but has anybody actually heard Clive Lloyd's stand-up routine? I mean he can't have been referring to Mr and Mrs Lenny Henry who between them have the combined laughter generating power of a dead newt.
