Well I Didn't Expect That!
I called in at a local car dealership on the way home tonight to enquire about a test drive in one of the new Mazda 6 series. I asked the salesman if we could organise something for this weekend to which he replied, "Sure, how far do you want to go?"
I had to ask him to repeat the question, thrown as I was by the thought of taking a new pre-registered car across the channel down through France and into Spain to watch Messi and his mates take on this weeks hapless opponents. "It's just that I'm here on my own on Sunday so you'll have to take it out yourself with trade plates on."
I can see we are going to be best of friends immediately, anybody who let's a complete stranger waltz off with a new car can't be all bad!

Blimey...what's his number...that said you could have misunderstood COMPLETELY and he wants to know how far do you want to go WITH HIM as he's all alone on Sunday...sweetie...(winks)
Well Nathalie and I had the car for an hour and I have to say I won't be suggesting it as my new company car - I won't mention the brand except to say the name of the make sounds similar to a supermarket chain - and it's not the Ford Sainsbury.
