Are you a fan of Tin Tin, Paul? If so, on no account must you go on YouTube and search for "boro tin tin". Some loutish young men from Teesside have overdubbed Tin Tin cartoons with their own storylines which contain gratuitous amounts of foul and offensive language. How it has remained on YouTube is a mystery to me!

I've always been a fan of Tin Tin, the French love him. When we were in Paris last July we found a shop in the Latin Quarter that was almost exclusively Tin Tin memorabilia and merchandising - I have a four inch Tin Tin on my desk.

I used to have most of the Tin Tin books(all illustrated as a comic) based on the cartoon series that wee shown before the news on BBC1 when the Magic Roundabout or Hector's House wasn't on. Thewn for various reasons I gave them away as Mum(I think)kept going on ablout all the things I was storing(lack of space)

Wish I had them now...I have just as much or about the same amount of items so I could have kept them. They were in mint condition.
