And a thank you to Ireland for giving us (amongst others and in no particular order): The (First) Duke of Wellington, Liam Brady, Oscar Wilde, William Butler Yeats, Roy Keane, Mary McAleese, Patrick Pearse, Michael Collins, Monsignor Hugh O'Flaherty, Arthur Guinness, Ernest Shackleton, Thomas John Barnardo as well as the ancestors of John Lennon, Joe Strummer, the Gallagher Brothers and Wayne Rooney.

Ah Liam Brady...the memeories...most of Arsenal in the 70's were Irish (or so it seemed)!
