hehehe...I think it has occured to many! I was hoping WB would survive and Sunderland go down but that is (not quite) impossible now. If it did what would be the next nearest premiership club to Shytalk?...all the way down to Manchester I think.
Well certainly the Manchester area: Bolton, Blackburn, United and City - or maybe Hull is closer?
Well, West Brom are, I think, destined for the drop. Only a miracle could save Boro. I think the bottom three will be:-
Sunderland
Middlesbrough
West Brom
I think Newcastle will survive because they'll be better motivated and have a few games where they'll pick sufficient points.
The nearest Premiership club would then be Newcastle. If we both go down, then I'd say it would be Blackburn Rovers, the club that my late father supported.
Shy I don't want Sunderland to go down - we might need the six points next season! :-) Sorry couldn't help myself.
Actually without sounding patronising I want your lot to stay up because I'm a big Niall Quinn fan.
