Miley Cyrus is convinced watching her turn in new movie The Last Song will make her take acting lessons - because she wants to develop her big screen career.

Why couldn't somebody have taken her to one side and told her this back in 2006 when she got the Hannah Montana gig? The years of suffering the parents of pre-pubescent and teenage girls have to go through watching that crap. Miley Cyrus and her equally untalented father, Billy Ray - he of the Achy Breaky Heart 'fame,' have been partly responsible for the depletion of the talent layer in the earth's atmosphere. Obviously they have had help from Jonathan Ross, Alan Carr and Justin Lee Collins among others.

Cyrus has apparently said "I'm open to developing my acting skills further," - no shit Sherlock,she added "I’ve not taken like acting lessons or anything, but it doesn’t mean I don’t need to because I’m sure I do. Once I watch this film in the theatre, I’m probably going to go book an acting coach."

Oh the lives of the rich and terminally dumb (but not too dumb to get a multi-million dollar contract from Disney).
