What does this list say to you?


Below are the 22 towns identified by the Government as the areas with the highest proportion of homeowners at risk of repossession.

Why 22? (that's what the list says to me!)

This is a hard question. To me it seems that a lot of these towns would be regarded as natural Labour seats although I must admit that the only one I have any intimate knowledge of is Sunderland, my adopted home town.

Am I anywhere near the mark?

I think you are Shy. My first reaction on seeing the list, and I don't know why it is 22 long, was that Labour had let down some of their traditional voters big time in these areas.

Well I did think that and they were predominantly north so probably more Labourish but then saw Reading and Swindon and paused for thought.
