Anna Calvi




Brian Eno has described Anna Calvi as the most exciting female in rock music since Patti Smith. In a musical world dominated more and more by 'manufactured bands' she's a breath of fresh air and her debut album doesn't have a single duff track on it and hasn't been off my CD player for the past four weeks.

If there's any justice in the world of music she'll be huge one day.
