I Love The Sound of Breaking Glass

No wonder Tony Cameron decieded to leave the country by Ryanair on Thursday a few weeks before his wife's actual birthday. When the shit hits the fan and questions about his judgement are going to be asked it's best to be a long way away.

This story certainly has legs whether or not you see it as just something journalists and the rich and famous should be concerned about, we are back in the territory of a Government minister showing a complete lack of judgement in who he decides are his friends and who he wants to be seen shaking hands with.

"When the going gets tough, the tough go shopping" is a phrase I once heard.

One of the most despicable attributes of lousy managers, IMHO, is the way they go "missing in action" when it hits the fan. I saw it loads in local government.

Yes Shy, it's as if he knew the announcement was coming. It's not just Cameron though, every U.K Government since Major in the 1980's has prostitued itself to keep in with the evil empire.

I would have thought that was one of many things he should be worried about. Interesting to read today that Gus O'Donnell blocked Gordie's request for a judicial inquiry into the phone "hacking" allegations.

Do you think we've become sceptical in the U.K about judicial reviews because they seem to be 'threatened' so often they've become like the boy who cried wolf.

Not so much that as the fact that by and large they are white-washes...or even if something is done it's either not enough or the wrong thing entirely!
