Happy Birthday Bruce!
For all Maiden fans out there, Bruce is 53 today. I remember a Thursday night this was on Top of The Pops back in 1982, it followed the theme from the Hill Street Blues! Never far from straying into Tap territory on this video, the film shown on Sky Arts recently showed that despite all the fame and everything that goes with it they remain really good blokes always up for a laugh whilst being very good musicians.

It would be nice if they were (and I have no reason to doubt it) I suspect that because the heavy bands never got "that" celeb treatment, big names, massive sound, great tours etc but for some reason always treated 'at a distance' if you know what I mean and that has maybe helped them keep their feet on the ground.
I think that's a good point, they've not had to put up with all the celebrity stuff and just got on with it.
They put on a good show a couple of weeks ago in Newcastle, and it was much cheaper than watching QPR v Sunderland! :-)
