We've all done It.

After years of having her own photos airbrushed in magazines and advertisements the world over Kate Moss's daughter, Lila Grace, is now feeling the effects of overzealous airbrushers.

The portrait of mother and daughter was taken by famed fashion photographer Mario Testino, for the September issue of US Vogue.  It seems however that somebody has been a little over enthusiastic and has photoshopped Lila Grace’s hand, leaving her with only two fingers and a thumb.

"You really have to hand it to Vogue," said jezebel.com. "Did an inattentive so-and-so have their fingers in too many pies?

I made a basic mistake with the photograph of Amy standing in her underwear in the New Forest that I posted a few weeks ago.  I tried taking out the green moss on the road and replacing it with tarmac from the foreground, what I didn't realise until the prints came back from the printer as that I'd been using the wrong sized brush and there were great grey splodges where there had been greenery. Ironic really given that one of my proud boasts has always been that I only use software to adjust the sharpness and resolution.

Incidentally one report of this states that Kate has been "airbushed," which is surely something else entirely.

Not good. So silly.

You'd think that photos like this would be subject to incredible amounts of scrutiny before they are released... ...but apparently not.

If she had sent the photos to Boots or similar to get developed then there would have been "extra" scrutiny but not of the kind you mean!
