My late mother had a saying I've never heard anyone else use. She would say that something was "as black as the Devil's nutting bag".Shortly after she died I Googed the phrase and it does have a genuine, if rather odd, origin.
That is a great saying Shy.Paul...as it was he person IN the office describing it as such it would make me say something worse along the lines of "you must be a right old shit then!"
