Some stories leave you scratching and/or shaking your head in disbelief. What sort of police force do we have in this country that employs people who can't tell the difference between a samurai sword and a white stick?
PMQ's was fun today wasn't it with Ed Miliband still trying to make political capital out of what Andrew Mitchell did or didn't say at the entrance to Downing Street. I loved it when Ed said, "If somebody out on a Saturday night had used that sort of language they would find themselves in the back of a police car." Presumably only because they were so stupid as to have forgotten where the front of the car was. Let's be honest, beyond the refined world of London media and politics you wouldn't have to throw a stick very far to find somebody who hasn't been on the receiving end of abuse from a serving police officer.
And where do we get off in this country still believing that a serving police officer should be believed?
