Yes but no but

Sometimes you feel sorry for Arsene Wenger, following the 'ghost corner' that led to a goal for Olympiakos. Of course the blame for the goal lies firmly with the Arsenal defence but a manager must never say anything against his team in public, unless of course you are Rafa Benitez and you couldn't care less what your team thinks of you.

Arsene said afterwards "It was so obvious that nobody touched the ball, You wonder how the fifth referee could not have seen it."  Of course the fifth referee, who was less than a yard from the ball when it hit the post, had seen what had happened but the referee, who was some thirty yards further away, knew best and overruled the man on the spot. You would though have thought that Steve Bould would have pointed this out to his boss wouldn't you?

Didn't deserve to win anyway. I know it gets a bit annoying but like on Saturday if they don't kill off games how can they complain bout the way they lost it.

Alan Ball was a great one for blaming his players, the worst I have ever heard.
