The Peugeot 907 concept car is a bit of a stunner.
Peugeot do quite a lot of their publicity photographs at The Gois causeway in Vendee, France. It's the longest floodable causeway in the world , it links the island of Noirmoutier to the mainland and is 4.5 kms long. If you get stuck when the tide is coming in there are safety buoys you can cling to until help arrives.
We stayed in the area three years ago and as you approach the causeway there are a series of signs warning about the dangers of the incoming tide. The signs, in French, German and English, are the normal, run of the mill, tourist signs until the final one, about a quarter of a mile before the causeway. This simply states "Beware, Death is Possible."
