It's a funny thing, we've become fanatical about ensuring the kids eat properly. Everything cooked from fresh and so on. And then Nic and I had a discussion yesterday as she had pots of food on for Louis that 40 years ago the issue just wasn't there, because they had no choice.
Choice or at least percieved choice can be such a bad thing in so many ways.
Bill Bryson made the point that in the States you have about 100 different brands of Orange Juice and people spend hours in the supermarkets because too much choice confuses them.

My pharmacist wife tells me the next "big threat" will come from "Super TB" which is resistant to just about any antibiotics.
(That's if obesity hasn't finished us all off by then!)
