Well done to Ian Woosnam and his team for yet another comprehensive victory over Team USA.

Best moments for me were Paul Casey and Luke Donald's singles wins and for Darren Clarke keeping it together until the end under circumstances none of us would want to experience.

Best quote of the weekend was from an American commentator on SKY who said that the difference between playing golf in Europe and the USA was that in Europe you get 45,000 people who turn up who know something about golf, in the States you get 44,000 people turn up who want to party and 1,000 who know something about golf.
