Even The Blind Can See (Sometimes)

Okay, we're used to Fergie, Maureen, Arsene et al not being able to see beyond the touchline when it comes to their own players indiscretions but on the Arsenal website today Mr Wenger really proves that he suffers from short sightedness in one eye and the sort of vision in the other that should guarantee him a place in an SAS squad should he ever retire from football.

If you could reverse one refereeing decision, what would it be?

I feel the penalty awarded by [Mike] Riley at Manchester United in our 50th game [after 49 unbeaten] was a completely invented penalty. That is a decision which I regret. [Wayne] Rooney dived on that occasion. It was on a day when we did not deserve to lose.

Now come on Arsene, that foul took place at the Stretford End in the far corner of the penalty box and your field of vision was blocked by at least half the players on the pitch plus the immovable object formerly known as Sol Campbell.
