Our Office
The building that houses our office was built about 150 years ago and was a family home until the 1970's when it became the local doctors surgery. The old doctor and his family lived there prior to its conversion, the doctors daughter was the woman who would become (in)famous as Christine Hamilton.
Anyway the house is well suited its uses as a home, big windows, high ceilings, big gardens front and back, but absolutely useless as an office - it's freezing cold it winter and like a sauna in the summer. When it gets too hot the front door is left open, which is fine until a keen south westerly gets going. That was the case today when I found myself walking downstairs whistling, when Squirrel asked why I was so happy I replied it wasn't happiness it was just that the force nine gale blowing through the building had led to a sort of musical word association football.
