Whatever You Are Celebrating

Okay I know there are still three days to go, don't worry I'm not suffering from premature celebration but I think some, if not most, of you will have something better to do than visit my blog over the next few days.

I'd like to thank everybody who has visited my humble blog during the year, especially those who have contributed, in no particular order: Six, Span, Gavin, Shy, Mags, Lucy, Rupe, Gildy, Curmy, Ja, Augustus - if I have missed you I'm sorry - to those who visited but didn't contribute make 2007 your year for commenting (I know who some of you are).

When I started blogging back in 2003 the idea was to keep some sort of diary of my thoughts about me, family, the world etc, I let it slip when I was ill and feeling sorry for myself but this year thanks to the encouragement of Six, Span and Gavin I returned and glad I have - having met so many virtual friends. Over the holiday period I'll be posting some of my personal favourite sporting, music, news moments from the year - as Six posted on his blog it will be interesting to look back one day on how we viewed particular events at the time.

To all of you out there have a good holiday, whatever it is you are celebrating and look after yourself and those you love. And remember if you fall out with anybody over the holiday think why it was you became friends/lovers/husbands/wives in the first place and everything will be okay again.

Paul, another Merry Christmas from me to you.

Keep up the blogging in 2007. It is one of the most interesting and well thought out blogs around. I might not always comment but I find all of your posts interesting. So keep up the good work old bean!

How can I improve on what you have said or comments already made. The worry is that I will miss someone out if I create a list. Something must have attracted each of us to each other, the good thing is that its all been done voluntarily because we want to. Your blog is always worth reading.

My sincere good wishes go to you and yours at this festive season.

I'm not avoiding saying Happy Christmas as you'll know if you look at a recent entry at my blog.

My circle of Christmas cards that I have to send each year to family and friends is deminishing but my friends on here is increasing.

Who knows perhaps next year I may be able to send out some real cards and can you imagine the reaction of friends and family seeing such a variety of names inside ;-)

That would be quite something to see.

Thank you to all of you for your comments throughout the year.

You are right Gildy, there is something that has brought us to the same part of the web, long may it continue.
