It's that time of year again

You can tell it's the end of the summer when the Bisterne Scarecrow Festival takes place and this year it has twenty seven entries. Much like the Go-Kart race that happens in Ringwood this event divides between those who are having a laugh and doing it simply to raise money for the local Village Hall and those who see it as an artistic challenge. I think this year there were a far higher number of entries who had put quite a lot of effort into it than normal.

This was my personal favourite, "How many men does it take to change a light bulb?" If you look just above the seated ladies head you can see the feet of one poor chap who has fallen into the hedge.
