Even with all of the defence watching from the stands and playing a 3-4-3 formation with three midfield players in the "back three" Barcelona were too good for one of Spain's other Champions League representatives last night. It was as if Real Madrid's demolition of Zaragoza the night before had annoyed the Spanish and European champions and they responded in the best possible way.

Don't know if you've seen Pep's interview in Spain saying that in some matches you don't need defenders just players who can use the ball. 9 midfield players is the way forward!
