Where is everybody?

No, not fellow bloggers I mean road users. First morning after the clocks went back and the daily commute was quicker than normal. The only other road users were a tractor and a pheasant.

Always a slightly depressing time of year when the clocks go back, the last thing I need at the weekends is an extra hour in bed, I can't stay in bed too long as it is without laying there looking at the digital clock count down the minutes until the Today programme kicks in at 6:30.

Things are pretty grim at the moment aren't they? Not just for Chelsea (ha bloody ha) or the economy or anybody connected with St Paul's cathedral. Incidentally why does it cost £42 for a family of four to visit Wren's monument whilst you can get into the truly great European cathedrals like Chartres and Cologne for nothing? And also why is there thus urban myth that it repairs and maintenance of the old girl cost upwards of £7 million a year when the published accounts show only £4 million - some sort of charity uplift?

Anyway if the world isn't going to end then the Zombies are going to get you, but this happens every few years (both the world ending predictions and the Zombies) and we haven't come to much harm so far.
